It was a sad day when I found out. A very versatle actor that was far beyond the light entertainment star we all knew and loved. And by all accounts a true gent.

Sadly missed - I loved The Good Life and his many radio roles. He was superb in many P.G. Wodehouse dramitisations.

What a great alround performer and a sad loss. :( It's amazing in such as short time how many famous faces have gone to the great Acting school in the sky and soon the next generation will only know those gone by referencing old recordings and will have never have seen them within their lifetime. I feel were lucky in one way that I was able to still watch the greats whilst they still were alive and to experience them at they're best where other won't sadly. :|
