Some folk may remember the excellent RWT - do a Youtube search for clips many featuring Henry Wolf.
This is a good one :D -

And here’s another! :D

Eric Idle dressed up like Jimmy Savile, looking like he’d ingested an illicit substance that had gone off is alarming enough. But the really frightening bit is that clothing came off the rack!! RWT had no budget so of course those nightmarish threads came from a shop.

Good one DOY - mind you they made more sense than most politicians :o

In the 70's my mother bought me this awful dark brown safari suit with wide lapels and gold buttons, I hated it but had to wear it for school. I felt like a right plum

Awwwww, I'll bet you looked very smart! :o
Of all the mad "fashion choices" that were made for me, at least they didn't make me wear a Nehru jacket .
Those 1970's fashions were like wearing a hair shirt. Polyester: the most diabolical fabric known to man, and child.
Who were the maniacs that thought up petroleum based casuals? Bleeding inquisition.

I just picked up the RWT DVD from E Bay for only 8 quid new. 14 episodes plus the Christmas special, marvellous Pythonesque silliness from Eric Idle the first episode has a bloke who rescues drowning fish :)
Henry Wolf / Frankie Barrow is one of the cast of course.

If you can get hold of it I urge you to buy it I cried with laughter watching episode 1 today
