One of my childhood faves without a doubt

I thought the only way I could do this is not look at other people's lists, because for one, I'd never decide and secondly it would mean I end up with about 100! Anyways, I always say that these things change over time and one week I might say that something is great but then get fed up with it and have to leave it for a while; same with music too - always good to have things new to look at and listen to and then be able to return to old favourites when the mood takes you.

Here's my top 10... my current one, at any rate. Not all sitcoms (spot the odd one out. ) Near enough in order of preference.

01) STEPTOE AND SON
02) GEORGE AND MILDRED
03) HANCOCK'S HALF HOUR/HANCOCK
04) ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE
05) DAD'S ARMY
06) THE WORKER (CHARLIE DRAKE)
07) MONTY PYTHON'S FLYING CIRCUS
07) MORECAMBE AND WISE
09) BOTTOM
10) THE LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN

But where are the US ones and also some very obvious ones that seemingly everybody loves? Well, there are lots that I've not looked at for years - and mostly don't have on DVD anymore - but know I will, eventually - and some I did get a bit over-familiar with. The American ones are part of the following list - being very cheeky adding all these others in, I know... but it should give more of an idea of what I've enjoyed over the years. Sooo - (in no particular order)

ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES, THE YOUNG ONES, FILTHY RICH AND CATFLAP, THE OFFICE (both UK & US), OPEN ALL HOURS, THE GOOD LIFE, PHOENIX NIGHTS, THE MUNSTERS, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, RISING DAMP,THE FALL AND RISE OF REGINALD PERRIN, SOME MOTHERS DO 'AVE 'EM, FAWLTY TOWERS, MORK AND MINDY, I'M ALAN PARTRIDGE, THE LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN, DAD'S ARMY, THE PHIL SILVERS SHOW (SGT BILKO), THE COMIC STRIP PRESENTS, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, MASH, THE SIMPSONS, RIPPING YARNS, LITTLE BRITAIN.

That will have to do for now... I know I've missed some great ones off and will remember in about 10 minutes or so. :P
