Sequels...

Postby PhilGlass » Sun Jun 20, 2010 8:53 pm

Okay, I'm bored so I thought I'd start a topic...

Which programs / films do you thin the SEQUELS were better?

I'll start... this doesnt necessarily have to be comedies...

1, Steptoe... the second film I prefer...

2. Mr. Bean... the first film didnt do it for me, but the second to me was more traditional and understood the character more (much to my surprise as I didnt have high hopes for it)

3. Star Trek (Okay, nothing to do with comedy, but to me the second film is the best ever - and I love the show so nur-nur-ne-nur-nur to anyone who doesnt lol)

4. On the Buses... I like the second film the best - HOLIDAY on the buses... not because Wilfrid was in it (though he steals the show) but I just think its funnier and that ALL the films were far better than the series...

Okay... your turn...

The word 'sequel' does not appeal to me in the slightest. But may I digress from the topic of television and say that Terminator 2, Robocop 2 and Aliens all annihilate their previous episodes.

I prefered Aliens - 2 to the original Alien movie real edge of the seat stuff , the third one on the prison planet was quite good as well :o

Then they had to ruin it with Alien V Terminator :x
Eeh I wanna see the Nudes of 1964
