R.I.P. Sir Norman Wisdom

Postby PhilGlass » Tue Oct 05, 2010 3:04 pm

Sir Norman Wisdom has passed away.

A true legend of British comedy, he was also a recognised serious actor and songwriter.

He was Charlie Chaplin's favourite 'clown'. His inoffensive and hilarious humour appealed to millions across the world.

The world of british comedy has a void in it which will never be filled.

R.I.P Sir Norma and thanks for the laughter!!

Well said Phil; Norman was a true legend.
I love all of his movies and I must confess the song 'Don't laugh at me because I'm a fool' always brings a tear to my eyes

I echo the comments above.

I also love the idea that he was worshiped by the entire nation on Albania.
