Hi Harold

I have never heard of "After You've Gone" but then my sitcom knowledge stops at about 1982

His first part was as Norman Stanley Fletcher's son in the follow up series to Porridge called Going Straight.

Actually he played a part earlier in 1976 in "Prince and the Pauper" tv mini series.

A common myth I'm afraid Archie... the little boy was played by Tony Page, he also appeared in The Good Life in the episode "Mutiny", his only ever screen credits.

I love the way Basil elbows him in the head as he walks off and pretends he's checking his watch lol

That's a pity because he was really good as the cheeky brat, "These eggs look like you laid them, what a dump." Shame we didn't get to see the Greek chef be sick over a plate of uncooked appetizers, a favorite Fawlty moment and tragic edit. Can hear a woman in the audience fall about laughing, couldn't believe what she'd just seen lol. Easy to imagine the special effects dept mixing the stuff up, after all it's gotta look right: "What do you think, more carrots?"

I'd have loved to have seen Albert & Harold stay there for a scene or episode. That would have been monumental

I think the best thing Nicholas Lyndhurst was in other than OFAH was Goodnight Sweetheart. Brilliant comedy and highly underrated. :)
