...shouldn't that be "kick arse"?
of course it does, with hobnail boots.

never mind Segal, i'm imagining Bruce Lee watching 7 Steptoerai doubled over in laughter, he might have done too.
now i'm wondering...did Kurosawa ever see that episode? hope so.
happy (belated) birthday, cheers Bob

I don't fancy going to some posh wine bar and forking out 8 bob for a drink - you can get a pair of boots mended for that. Then off to see Richard the hundred and eleventh. Then to some restaurant full of foreigners and eating hundred year old eggs and birds nest soup :x

Has to be the good old Skinners Arms where you can drink all night for seven and a tanner :)

Thanks all

It has always been great fun on this board.

Archie and Harold have been members from list off.

There have been many people who have come, stayed a while and then gone.

It would be nice if a few of them came back.

Maybe some of them were put off by recent unprecedented hostilities.
Perhaps others found the half dozen "bots" that linger like a bad case of athletes foot disagreeable.
Or (and this is most likely) they were victims of what drew them to Steptoe and Son in the first place, its primary theme: poverty.
Anyone's guess, but here's hoping they return! :)
