Postby PhilGlass » Tue Apr 17, 2012 11:52 pm

I just noticed this... a scene from "Keeping Up Appearances..." there is a Steptoe and Son video on the sideboard... The Seven Steptoerai...

Where else have you seen Steptoe references?

This was more intended for Steptoe references, rather than things the actors played in! Otherwise we'd be here forever!!

HOWEVER - I spotted a mention of Steptoe in the ON THE BUSES episode "Mum's Last Fling" - Jack was describing someone and said "Old Man Steptoe - Old Wilf...".. he says it very quickly. :)

There's an episode of Are You Being Served where Mrs Slocombe and Miss Brahms are talking and I don;t remember the conversation very clearly now because I haven't seen in quite a while but I think Mrs. Slocombe was talking about a blind date or something and mentioning that he looked like Steptoe, meaning Albert.
I thought we'd nick a wreath off one of the graves as we went in.

Just saw Wilfrid Brambell in an episode of All Creatures Great and Small tonight.

Also say Wilf in Carry On Again Doctor. They even played the Steptoe music when he came on.

I love that episode of All Creatures.... Mr Broooooomfield as he keeps saying. Ha ha, a perfect performance from Wilfrid. The episode is called "A Dog's Life" for anyone who wants to check it out.
