That is so sad. It is one of the things that I hate about living across the pond, I don't always get to keep up with what's happening with my favorite TV and film stars from over there. On a slightly related note, I learned a while back that Onslow's blue Cortina was sent for recycling some time around 2006. I honestly don't know which upsets me more.

Incidentally, he had a minor role in Carry On At Your Convenience that everyone should see, I also remember seeing him in an episode of Up Pompeii, Adolf Hitler: My Part in His Downfall, and I have a vague recollection of seeing him in a film involving the robbery of a mail train though I might be thinking of someone else in that one. Can someone help me out on that last one?

Geoffrey Hughes. what Great Actor he was and a sad loss to us all. I was hoping that he'd win his battle against Cancer but it was not to be sadly. I Loved him in Corrie as Eddy Yates and in the classic Keeping up Appearances as onslow plus in that cool episode of Randall & hopkirk Deceased and in one of my favourite Carry on's / Carry on at your own convenience . RIP! :(
