just purchased a book the broons and oor wullie happy days 1936-1969 from a charity shop it is a good book i enjoyed it anybody else heard of these comics

Yeah I love these books in Scots dialect. I had a 1960 Broons book when I used to deal in Comics back in the nineties. It reminded me of another the classic cartoon strip "Jocks and the Geordies" from the Dundee stable.

Aye; I've been a fan all my life every Christmas I always got a Broons or Oor Wullie annual - they used to print them alternately each year, the annuals can often be found in secondhand shops

My surname is Munro and I did go to purchase a kilt about 25 years ago but it was going to cost £600 to get one made in the right tartan, wonder how much it would be now.
