Some of the motoring forums I'm on have a mugshot section, I thought we could start one here.

Here is a certain dangerously handsome chap with his latest Jag to start :o

She’s a beauty........the motor I mean!!
Are those blue suede shoes Archie?

I don’t have one of those mobiles that do ‘selfies’.
I did however do the fresh, warm clean laundry he’s getting comfy on :).

Typical innit. Living with cats teaches a person to adjust one’s priorities.
What need of irons and dry cleaners, what’s the point?
Cats are all over that clean clothing before you can snap your fingers.....bless em :o.

I like my suede shoes like the psychiatrist in Loathe Story :)

My latest and 4th Jag is the X Type all wheel drive 3 litre v6 manual box, with the AWD if sticks to the road like glue.
The XK8 is a good motor, check the rear arches for rust, also if its an early engine check the plastic timing chain tensioners have been replaced with metal ones. Jaguar recalled the models fitted with this engine and changed them so they should be okay 8)

Hi Archie, I went for a 2004 model as I was worried about the engine issue.

I have a slight noise in the front nearside suspension but I may just be a bit paranoid. !!

Jags eat bushes so I wouldn't worry Bob.

An insurance policy runs out soon so I'll get a few grand payout if I use this and my meager savings I'm tempted to buy an XK8 as a hobby car :o

It's the first time I have been able to button a collar for years, I recently lost 5 stone so all my old togs fit me again :o

I was going to a hospital appointment so I decided to make an effort, had a bit of bad news though :(

Check out Caledonia on Youtube from Scot's singer / actor Frankie Miller, a magnificent version 8)

Recently lost 5 stone? That's 70 lbs man, if it wasn't deliberate then ill health is implied.

Dig the tie, looking sharp, that your tartan?

I'm on water tablets hence the weight loss, trouble is I'm at the khazi half the night.
The tartan is the Black Watch a Scottish army regiment, my grandfather fought with them in WW1. I have a shirt in the same tartan.

My grandfather wore a Black Watch kilt during WW1, it must have been bleeding parky in the trenches

If Grandad wore it are you entitled to wear it too ?

My wife's mum was from the clan McCunn which is part of the McQueen mob - I think. The McCunn tartan just looks like someone has been sick all over it, but I would love a black watch tartan
