This was probably meant to elicit fear but oh, God.

Children and Ponds is... dated... also, it can come across as hokey and manipulative.

Did they cut the bit where Frankenstein's Monster shows up to put her in the water ;)

the, um, obvious doll they use... their budget couldn't stretch to a doll that looked like an actual child instead of a toy?
