Glad you enjoyed them ILS :o.
A bit like Punk aren't they? Condensed, funny, hugely accelerated tempo.
They're from Jay Ward Studios, the same folks that created Bullwinkle.
Thanks for the added links, looking forward to them :).

You're welcome DOY. :)

Some of those cartoons are new to me so I've been viewing one or two in Youtube. Excellent they were too. :P

I think it was Bill Bailey who brought this back to my and a million other's attention as being the original News At Ten theme. If you remember it like us 40 somethings can't fail to, you probably won't have a clue until 0:30 seconds in and then it's only a short bit from there on. Also the last few seconds is the part they used right at the end! :)

Can you believe the difference in what is known now and this one that was used til the late 70s-ish? For this reason alone, it certainly is a fave of mine.

Another great theme. The classic 70s kids series called, Jamie and his magic torch. Great opening sequence that included a dark moonlit street, your average semi detached, a small kid with his talking dog and inter-dimensional battery operated torch, then to add the cherry on the cake, a great rock n roll soundtrack. Can't get cooler that that. 8)

...Is that a real estate description, or psychological assessment .
