Best known for his broken microphone routine, and just like me a citizen of the city of Hull. I met him as a youngster when he came to our school.

He was a great stalwart of the quiz show througout the seventies / eighties and as as kid loved his broken microphone & mad Chicken routine was very funny. I liked his gentle comedy stand up without bad language or obvious bad taste inuendo. A good man and great human being. R.I.P Norman. :(
