What's all the fuss about ?

If you have never seen a episode of Steptoe and Son and just want to make sure the DVD’s are worth every penny (which they are ), you can see six episodes of the series broadcast as part of BBC 2’s Comedy Doubles season. This is to be broadcast on Wednesday evenings between 7pm – 8pm. The season will run through autumn 2006 till early 2007.

The basic idea of the series to broadcast two comedy episodes each evening. While there may not appear to be an obvious link between the two programmes the presenter is going to amaze us with some never before realised trivia that will have us falling off our armchairs.

Let’s hope the links aren’t too tenuous. For example they could broadcast any Steptoe episode from series 8 alongside any episode from “2 Point 4 Children”. The amazing link ? These are two episodes the BBC managed not to lose !!!!!!

I remember reading once about a very tenuous link between "Steptoe and Son" and "Only Fools and Horses" was that Willy appeared as a lift attendent in an episode of "Citizen Smith" called "OFAH's" ( both series were written by John Sullivan )....

I wonder if that one will come up?
