GALTON & SIMPSON EVENT - 12th September !! - Incl. Step

Postby PhilGlass » Tue Jul 21, 2009 12:24 pm

2009 is the 60th anniversary of our two favourite writers!

To celebrate, those wonderful people at the TONY HANCOCK ARCHIVES have organised an event which is open to all!

http://www.tonyhancockarchives.org.uk/n ... pdates.htm

This is an all day event where you can meet fellow Steptoe / Hancock / Galton and Simpson fans, a prize draw and a G&S Quiz.

There will be screenings of some of Ray and Alan's finest work, and SPECIAL GUEST STAR Damaris Hayman who played in TWO Steptoe episodes.

As a special treat for Steptoe fans, there is a special presentation of all of the UNREALEASED Steptoe material... The Ajax Ad from Australia, the unreleased TV sketches, and much more... A wonderful day out for any fan!!

I really recommend this to all.

Thanks to Bob for allowing me to promote this wonderful celebration on this forum!

It's worth the journey...

It's only a fiver, these days that can't even buy you two decent pints of beer.

It will be a great even for all, I'm looking forward to it. The event is nor for profit by the nice people of the Tony Hancock Archives.

Better than what the BBC have planned...
