THE BARGEE - Now on official DVD

Postby PhilGlass » Mon Mar 15, 2010 1:25 pm

This will certainly annoy all those people flogging bad quality copies of this, but THE BARGEE starring Harry H Corbett and written by RAY GALTON AND ALAN SIMPSON is now available on DVD.

Today (Monday 15th) was the official release date!!

A great movie!!!

P.S. Remastered Steptoe radio episodes are also being shown on Mondays 12:30 and 7:00 on Radio 7, starting today!!!

Just litened to the BBC7 version of The Bird. A little bit of hiss and hum but not bad quality considering the BBC couldn't be bothered tokeep their own copy !!!

Yes, it wasn't bad since it's the first time its been broadcast in many many many years. I got the time wrong too!!

Hopefully this remastering is due to a boxset being planned??

Okay I'm just being rediculous now!!!
