The Larkins - Series 3 - Wilfrid Brambell...

Postby The Pixel Surgeon » Fri Oct 28, 2011 3:32 pm

I've known about this for a while (indeed, I own it), but forgot to mention it...

Can't see it here - unless my eyes are playing tricks with me, which isn't hard, especially when bore in mind, how much (intense) restoration work I've been doing of late (think it's sending me blind - which of course, is all rather ironic...).

For those that may care to take a look, he's in the first episode of the 6, of the fairly recent Network release of The Larkins, series 3, entitled: Home Win.

A great episode, they even used Wilfrid on the DVD cover, even though he's just in this one episode. It was worth the price of the whole series just to see him.

Great episode. It is also rumoured that one of his other early appearances, "The History of Mr Polly" is due a release, so let's hope tha comes off.

Great post, this deserves to be seen more, according to Network the Dvd's of this series didn't do that well. Shame.

Despite that, Network appear to be continuing (rather than discontinuing) to release these in series order (3 left to go), which is the main thing...

More than likely, but certainly not before all 7 series have seen the light-of-day - as individual releases - 3 of which, are still to come, hopefully...
