"sad news that comedy writer jimmy perry has passed away at aged 92 the co writer with david croft of dads army you rang me lord it ant half hot mum and hi di hi .true classic britsh comedy olny ray and allen left now out of the great comedy writers rip jimmy
not the vicar again hes had two bob of me this year already.

A brilliant writer and whenever I'm in the airport and hear over the loudspeaker system I say Hi-Di-Hi!

What a genius, what a legacy. I was so sad when I heard this news. What a loss to comedy. Thanks Jimmy for the laughter. RIP.
