David S. Cass Sr. (stuntman)

Postby Dirty Old Yank » Thu Nov 26, 2020 3:31 am

It is with great sadness…that I read of stuntman Dave Cass’ passing.
When I was a kid....Dave Cass wasn’t merely supportive, he was the
neighborhood hero…who just happened to be a cinema stuntman.
I’ll never forget his tiny office, photos everywhere, documenting
his astonishing career in movies and the many people he met
and stunt-doubled in pictures when “stunt” actors weren’t
mentioned in movie crawls...let alone paid accordingly.
Dave was 6’4" but you’d never know it to look at him,
he was one of the kindest persons I’ve ever known,
…as old school stunt people invariably were.
Keep rockin’ Dave, you’re not
forgotten...and thanks for
your encouragement :o.
