Steptoe and Son... and Son!

Postby paulkinman » Tue Jan 27, 2015 11:01 pm

Hi all,

Just finished watching the above episode for the first time and I have to say that it was probably one of thee best episodes I have seen. It offers a real insight to the powers of Harry's and Wilfred's acting!

Heartily seconded, welcome :). Wonderful script isn’t it, Wilfrid gets some of the funniest lines.

Miss Tomlin: "I’ve been looking for (Harold) for months!”
Albert: “About 8 by the look of it.”

Harold: “I’ve got a cart load out here!”
Albert: “And a pram load in there!”

Harold: “I don’t believe I’ve had the pleasure.”
Albert: “Well somebody has!”

Almost wish that when Harold faux-strangles Albert with his muffler, his teeth had popped out and flown across the table, still chattering. Though the sight might’ve traumatized the expectant mother, and viewers at home as well. Where was Daphne’s mole anyway?
"I'm a rag n' bone man, I'm not a poxy grave robber!" - Harold
"Hey careful man, there's a beverage here!" - The Dude
