Hi. Just registered. Steptoe and Son is probably my favourite Brit sitcom. A great mix of humour and more tender moments backed up with solid acting. The old eps on YouTube are a great way to pass a half hour. :D

Hi Matt, welcome!
Indeed... It's been my first love (comedy series wise) since I saw my first episode over 40 years ago... Can't name many series, that I rewatch as regally from the era, as much as I do Steptoe...

We feel for these guys, they're our friends, that we invite into our homes, whenever we watch an episode.... Ultimately, we've all got Galton and Simpson to thank, for that...
