DVD Collection

I have recently (within the last 2 months) started collecting Steptoe And Son on DVD.I own Series 1 and 2 so far and had already owned the spin-off films.

Steptoe and Son (for me) was a sitcom I hadn't seen in many a long years but the clips I saw it always struck me as funny.Well having now got Series 1 and 2 its rocketing up my list of all-time favourite sitcoms.Series 3 is next on the shopping list.

Thanks for the welcome harold.

For now I think I'll collect each series individually.

Welcome Arthur it's good to see a fellow Scot on the forum :)
If you shop around the DVD websites you will find that the prices vary slightly though I bought most of mine from sendit.com.

All the episodes are available on the various emule (file sharing sites)

Shareaza,limewire and emule it's self.

Ive managed to get every single episode both radio and TV......from The Offer to the last Xmas episode.

Email me if you want advice on installing emule and its use. :) :D

Harold

I think the box set is exactly the same as the individual series/seasons.

The cut's arn't noticable, only by sad people like us who know every episode by heart.

Hello Harold

It is true that the BOXSET DVDs have some (very small, not noticable by most people) cuts.

I can't say for certain whether the individual DVD releases have been cut, but my guess is they will be identical DVD's to the boxset
