1) The Seige Of Steptoe Street ('A whole packet...' this will never stop being funny)

2) Robbery With Violence

3) Steptoe and Son - And Son!

But I'd rather take a copy of the failed documentary 'How To Build A Raft from nothing' lol and a copy of 'Assorted Rags' of course lol
But if you ask me next week, I'll want omething different!!! Grrr why do there have to be so many good episodes lol

.... and as I started this thread .... mine would be:

1) Divided We Stand
2) porn Yesterday
3) The Desperate Hours

Although I do find some of the old B&W episodes have a charm by themselves I don't think you can beat the later colour series, especially series 7 (which 2 of my selections come from)

juliluli

I have two questions for you, if you would be so kind.

1. Are you the phantom magnificent men poster on the vote page. Over 70 votes now !!

2 . Only 3 episodes with just Harry and Willy ? !!! It has to be more. Go on prove it

Going to upset a few people here but there is no way IMO that "Those Magnificent Men & Their Heating Machines" represents the best episode of Steptoe & Son!! I wouldn't even have it in my top 10. Still everyone has their right to their own opinions and long may that last .....

Ian B.

I agree. I am not saying TMM is a bad episode I think it is VERY funny and has some wonderful moments, but it would not be in my top ten either.

Phil

P.S. When I mentioned 'The Offer' in an earlier post I was meaning it as another episode that I'm sure has only Harry and Wilf in it!

Yeah What has happened to the claim about only 3 episodes with Harry and Willy ?

I'm sure I didn't make it up, but I can't find the comment in the thread anymore.

Has juliluli done some carelful editing of her posting ? She should go into politics

Regards
