Challenging topic! Funny thing about these ‘’desert islands”, they always seem to have electricity, so we can assume the accommodations are good. Maybe not 4 star, and the grass skirts could be a problem for those with allergies, but if we get to take Steptoe along it would insure a certain comfort level that an enforced diet of coconuts and bananas would not.
Only 3 episodes, that is frustrating!! But I’d probably select...
Come Dancing
Steptoe a La Cart
...the third is impossible to choose and I’ve tried.
I’m inclined to agree with Harold and would instead smuggle the boxset in with my luggage. It is after all an imaginary island, it aint like customs are gonna rummage through your belongings when you arrive.
Will there be a pub? :o

It's so hard to whittle this down to just three. These are the three I would choose today (tomorrow it might be different-- there are just so many excellent ones it's hard to decide. It's much easier to name my three least favourites than three most. Even the few I would call the 'weaker' episodes have so many excellent bits):

1. Men of Letters

2. A Winter's Tale

3. A Perfect Christmas

But to choose those three means leaving out such gems as The Bath, Divided We Stand, Without Prejudice, A Death in the Family, Oh What A Beautiful Mourning, Sunday for Seven Days, porn Yesterday, Upstairs, Downstairs, Upstairs; and so many more! I think I'd have to also go with the 'smuggle in a boxed set' option.
