Albert`s Corse palate!

Postby BLAKESCREWE » Tue Dec 13, 2011 4:27 pm

 So when did Albert suddenly develope a taste for the more exotic foods then? In 65 TODAY he would`nt touch it with a bargepole on his Birthday outing, prefered a more traditional greasy English nosh up for his treat in the Chinese resturant but by THE SIEGE OF STEPTOE STREET and thereafter he could`nt wait to get stuck into Chinese,Indian and other foods and seemed to love it! so what or whom changed his mind? :D :D
She`s twisted me out of a tanner!

Good Point, the only explanation I can offer is that in the early 60's it was considered 'foriegn muck', but later on it became as common as fish and chips !!

Then again continuity wasn't Ray and Alan's strong point !!!

the idea is that Albert is being purposely obstinant in 65 Today. I mean, he moans about Shakespeare and how it wasn't true to life and not realistic like Z Cars but in A Star is Born, when Alberts taking the mick out of Harold for taking him to an amateur production of "Richards the hundred and eleventh!" Harolds going on about Shakespeare and how its great and Albert goes "not the way they did it mate!"

I don't think its a case of a lack of continuity on Galton and Simpsons part and more a reflection of Albert purposely sets out to get on Harolds tits.

That makes sense, but Ray and Alan were crap at continuity. It didn't exist before.

I liked the pilot episode where one of Harold's bottles became adulterated with paraffin and Albert says "I'm not afraid of a bit of paraffin" and starts guzzling the bottle. You don't get a more coarse palate than that.
I thought we'd nick a wreath off one of the graves as we went in.
