Have you seen any other of the small bit-part actors in anything else other than Steptoe and son?
Recently I have seen Harold's long lost half brother "little Arthur" from Cuckoo in the nest in an episode of The Saint with Roger Moore, also I have seen one of Frankie Barrows thugs "Eric with the beard" from Seven Steptoerai in an episode of the Sweeney.
I know alot of the actors like Frank Thornton , Yootha Joyce and Leonard Rossiter appeared a few times but I'm on about the one-off type of actor's.

JG Devlin who played the other escapee was in an episode of Dad's Army(Absent Friends), and the lady playing the actress in A Star is born (Lemonie i think her name was) i saw her in an episode of Whatever happened to the likely lads

Neil also appeared in the films Zulu and Where Eagles Dare.
Richard Davies who played the Butcher in the second Steptoe film, (where Albert sneezes on the steak) also appeared in Zulu.

No, a serious one, Kenneth J. Warren who plays the Aussie, also played in an episode of "The Edgar Wallace Mysteries" with Wilfrid, as well as appearing on stage with him, I will scan a photo of the 2 of them onstange in 1968 in "The Canterbury Tales". They sang a duet together called "When I Was a Boy".

Not the same as the rest, but I think it's an interesting pre-steptoe connection.

I've seen Kenneth J Warren (Harold's 'brother') as a mute escaped lunatic in "The Creeping Flesh" starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee.
It's likely we've all seen some, if not all, of the stuntmen in The Seven Steptoerai at one time or another without realizing it, Bill Weston and Vic Armstrong particularly. But Armstrong can be briefly seen out of character in the "Journey to Krull" featurette.

*Good film really, Krull. Far better than most of that genre/era.

He also crashed a car in a fawlty towers episode the " kipper and the corpse" as Basil and Manuel carry Mr. Leamans dead body outside !

Seems there is a big Sweeney connection for me, the hotel manager Zita runs off with (Terry ?) on her honeymoon is also in one of the sweeney episodes as a high ranking officer Jack Regan has a run-in with.

Excellent film Clockwork Orange, did you get to see it theatrically?

Unfortunately not, I was born 12 years after its release. It was then banned, at Kurbick's request, for 30 years. Amazing film, but the book is better, if one can get their head around it!
