Albert's red n white necktie

Postby Ben Rigsby » Fri Dec 07, 2012 6:27 pm

Hi everyone.

during the '80's i used to own (and proudly wear - partly as a S & S 'tribute') a 'neckerchief' identical to the 1 sported by Albert. i seem to recall Stuart Adamson (RIP, ex-Skids guitarist, then post-punk guitarist/vocalist for Big Country also sporting 1)
i've long since lost mine somehow and wouldn't mind getting another.

does anyone know if they're still available and where i can get 1?

thanks!

Well, it's just a bandana isn't it. The sort Little Steven, Steve Jones, the Gumby's and Albert in porn yesterday tied around their heads. Surely they can't be that hard to find. You mentioned punk, did UK punks tie bandanas around their boots? That was a style here on the hardcore scene. The words style and scene seem so incongruous with punk, but that's what happened. Some claim the colours were meant represent something or other, beats me. But I digress lol Amazon UK has bandanas for 75p. Shops that sell jeans, boots etc are likely to have em :)
