I think the continuity went a stray in steptoe and tad but hey you can take and inch and give back a foot seeing it's Steptoe. I know one series that went into the script like a pathologist would a murder case was Only Fools and Horses series by John Sullivan who connected everything from the past and present with a magnifying glass. It's Bognor or Bust so who's off to the bar for a jar with Albert & Harold. Mine's a diet coke. After all I am driving my Horse you know and I have already 6 points on my licence. :)

Thank ye kindly. A pint will do nicely but what's your preference. Semi Skimmed or full cream? :P

There are several errors in OFAH. In the episode "Heroes and Villains" (dinner dinner dinner dinner batman!) Del has applied for a council grant to improve the flat - they OWN the flat as he bought it accidentally in a previous episode. Sullivan ignores his own error as in the next episode they are selling the flat. Also, Rodney's age is stalled a little because in "And The Winner Is..." he is 26 (work it out from his date of birth) yet in the very early series he is 24. No writer can get everything right... and in "To Hull and Back" Del reveals that he can tell forged money at sight, yet thinks the real money at the end is fake...

Each Steptoe was meant to be viewed on its own, an individual play. They should be enjoyed that way :)

Well deduced. I feel a little embarrassed as I read your OFAH thesis. :D I never knew that and I thought I went through OFAH with a fine tooth pick? :P I is wrong, they is most definitely wrong and what's not wrong is right and if there weren't any errors what sort of world would it be? A right one. Which is wrong on all levels as nothings perfect and that includes me on a bad day. On a good day you should see me though. Phwoar! :P

It'll have to be skimmed, bleedin' birds got the cream again
I'll stick to the black stuff thanks :)
No not Bovril
Reminds me of a sobering comment of Harry's. He said when he was a lad, the closest thing local kids had to a square meal was an Oxo cube (Front Legs of the Cow). Makes one pause.

Hey, Skimmed milk. Good choice!! Nice to see ones keeping an eye on ones waistline. I've never had any tit trouble concerning my milk. Don't get many Tits in my local Tesco's food store although there are a lot of berks about. :P
