Havent got a copy yet, but previewed the first few pages on Kindle... bloody good stuff!!!

Hope it comes out in paperback, I can't be doing with that Kindle racket.
At one time you could buy a Haynes workshop manual for practically any car. Now most manuals are on CD :x

This side of the pond, those books were published by Chilton, an incredible wealth of knowledge :).
One volume (printed on paper, mind) was larger than the OED.
Great fun to read, even for those who don't know anything about automobiles :o.
The GM books were my favorites, 1960's - early 70's.
Cherished volumes.

I agree Kindles arent as good as books, mine was a present, a fire HD 6 so I use it as a tablet rather than a kindle. The funniest conversation i ever overheard was a guy bragging how he had just bought a cover for his kindle that made it look like a real book!!
