This web stuff is really time consuming and there are many parts of the site that are not complete.

I decided however that if I didn't do my page on Murder at Oil drum Lane I would forget it and then it would never have got done.

I need to update the menu's but for those of you who want to have a sneek preview, here's the link ...

Bob, you've done it again.

In fact, it's sickening how good this website is!!! It's just not natural! lol

Very interesting page - it so does deserve to be respected as much as an installment of the Steptoe saga as much as any other.

Lots of new info in there for me!!

Wonderful page!!

Great review. Very Happy

I have to admit that I was a bit on the fence about Murder at Oil Drum Lane as a whole but the more I have looked into it (yes, I sneaked on Wikipedia for the ending) the more gutted I am to have missed it. It is an added kick up the flanks that it was playing at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley, between the 18th and 23rd of September 2006. That venue is literally a stone's throw from where I sit now.

While it is the end of the story, I hope it is not the last time we are presented with new Steptoe material, and I hope that one day the show can tour again or a DVD or TV version can be made.

Quite agree, I would definitely catch this if it came around again. A DVD would be nice too and, of course, an entirely new play would be equally as welcome. I can also see it as an animation maybe, using Harry and Wilf's likenesses but with the current two chaps' voice acting.

But yeah, thanks for the read. Sounds like it was a good night out.
